We like this a lot... no odor because of charcoal filter and looks stylish on countertop. Very easy to dump in outdoor compost and easy to clean.
This compost collector is really a minature garbage can on your kitchen counter. It has no odor because of the carbon filter inside the lid and it cleans up easily because it is stainless steel. My wife and I put our kitchen garbage in this instead of putting it down the garbage disposal. When it is full we empty it into our worm composter outside the back door. After emptying it we just wash it out and put it back on the counter ready to start collecting garbage again. Very hand if you do composting.
I love the charcoal, I don't think they used a very good stainless steal because it stains inside. It looks great on the kithchen counter.
I love the Natural Home composter that I purchased last summer, but I can not seem to find replacement filters for it anywhere. It would be very helpful if they were sold with the right dimensions to fit the lid of this composer. The reason that I chose it over a cheaper version that was also offered at my local trendy big box store was because the filter was much more substantial than the others. That was great while the filter lasted, but now I'm unable to replace it.
